Artist Bio
Kylie Malchus finds joy in telling stories through faces. After a childhood of near-muteness, Kylie learned to express herself in unconventional ways. A passion for portraiture blossomed into frequent commission requests and unique artistic opportunities. She is now a portrait artist, author, illustrator, avid pedestrian, yogi, Japanophile, photographer, animator, and Latter-day Saint. She created the cover artwork for several books, including one she co-authored. Her work has been published in Euphony and Panic Moon magazines.
In 2013, she was asked by David Archuleta's management to animate and direct the official music video for his single Don't Run Away, which included around 500 unique drawings. To date, the video has over 1.5 million views on YouTube.
Kylie loves creating religious pieces, especially depicting Jesus Christ. She considers it a blessing to create uplifting and wholesome artwork. She currently resides in Murray, Utah with her mother and sister.
